So I’ve done a lot of research on micro mini pigs and both my husband and I have decided to get one! We just went to see him today and he’s about two months old, will be littered boxed trained once he comes to our place, which is great. I’ve already bought everything I think I’ll need, but I must say I’m extremely worries about how big he may end up getting. He’s tiny right now and
both parents are 30-40lbs….I just really don’t want a piggy that ends up being 200lbs not even 90lbs ;-(…. . I really love your blog and all this awesome info you got going here, it’s extremely helpful ;-)))! Thank you!!!

Thanks so much for your kind comment. That is very exciting! It is definitely an iffy situation with the weight but hopefully you will fall in love so much it won’t matter 🙂 Keep me posted on how it goes!

    Hi Katie ;-))))…

Thanks for you reply 😉 and I’ll most definitely keep you posted. We’re gonna name him Diesel and he’s suppose to be getting neutered around the 19th of May so hopefully another few wks of waiting anxiously…
Question for you about what food I should be feeding my piggy… . So I’ve researched and come across many including yourself that suggest Mazouri food, but have you heard of “non-fattening sow nuts?” I’ve read that it contains all the minerals and vitamins that they require so now I’m not too sure….do you know how healthy is the Mazouri food for them?

Also do you have an Email address? I’d love to keep in touch with you ;-))

    Thanks so much 😉

Love that name! I am not familiar with sow nuts but I would assume just by the name that they aren’t a staple for pigs. Mazuri is really the only food that I know of to be safe and healthy for the mini pigs but it might be worth trying to mix in the nuts if you think they are healthy. Mazuri pellets have all the nutrition the pigs will need so they are a great choice.

I’d love to hear from you 🙂 katie at
