Ready for some more stories?
If you could change one thing, what would you change? Cocco really wishes he could change how often he squeals. Like a baby crying, he feels it’s his only way of getting the message through. Whether hungry, scared, happy, unsure . . . it’s a squeal. He wishes he could communicate in piggy kisses instead.
If you could repeat an age, what would it be? Katie wishes she could repeat age 23. She was newly living in the center of Rome, about 20 feet from Fontana di Trevi. She was immersed in Roman life and culture, by way of Stefano, and was busy doing graduate work and managing a peacebuilding portal for a United Nations project. She was invited to present it at the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva, Switzerland, and it was one of the highlights of her career life.
What is one thing that really scares you? Cocco is a frightful mini pig. He is scared by just about everything including a stranger’s touch and especially a stranger trying to pick him up.
What is one dream you have not yet completed and do you think you will be able to complete it? Katie has dreamed of doing something worthy of “earning a country living.” For those of you not familiar with the Country Living magazine, it’s Katie’s all time favorite. There is a section in each issue featuring someone making a living in an unconventional way. Katie hasn’t pinpointed exactly what she would do to make this happen but she is a glass half full kind of girl, the perpetual optimist, and usually pursues her goals to the end. There you have it; that’s her dream.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be? Cocco wishes he could be his Mamma. She has this fascination of picking him up and he’s not sure why. He also sees her eating lots of yummy food and marvels at what it would be like to eat to his stomach’s content. He’s just not sure he would ever stop eating.
Again, we apologize if you already received the award – or aren’t keen on the whole award thing – but think you haven’t yet received it after a quick check!
Thanks again for the awards. Coccolino couldn’t snort much louder!
Also, our sweet girl is back to preschool today which means the craziness recommences with having the kids dressed, fed and out of the house every day by 8am. If we are slower to respond to your posts, it’s just us readjusting to the post-holiday and post-tonsil routine chaos!
